My 2500K (@3.8GHz) idles at around 37C and gets to 62C at 100% (x4) load at the most.
I replaced the stock cooler with my Freezer 7 Pro (First Rev) from my IP35E/E6750 setup and used new AS5. I wasn't sure if it would be compatible, but it works great. I noticed the sell a Rev. 2 for 1156 & 1155 boards, but maybe it just makes mounting easier since the Rev. 1 is a pain!
I couldn't tell any difference in my applications when clocked at 4.2GHz, and the temps weren't worth it, so I backed off. This thing is way faster than my E6750@3.2GHz anyway... :)
