Someone must have hijacked moonbeams account. That is two posts in a row where he didn't say all conservatives have a brain defect.

Maybe not ALL, but conservatives in here are sure trying their damnedest to prove Moonie correct.

Exodus 16:4
Then The Lord said to Moses "I will rain down bread from Heaven for you. The people are to go out each morning and gather enough for that day." Seems to me, people have been getting welfare since forever.

That translation is not quite correct - but close enough. It was actually a covering that appeared on the ground in the morning, nothing fell from the sky. They were to go out and collect it each day because God sent them to a place where they could not get food.

Your conclusion is quite bad. It is more like the government giving food to soldiers it sends to war.

Notice that Manna is a white substance found on the ground and not loaves of bread falling from the sky. Thanks for supporting what I said, though I doubt it was your intention.

Why did Jesus feed them?

Read what chowderhead said and you will understand. You have to follow along with the flow of the conversation in order to understand it. It appears you stepped into the middle of a conversation and are lost.

Sure thing buddy, dodge the question and claim I cant follow your inaccuracies...again.

Since you refuse to actually understand the context of my post, I will force it upon you.

That is your intrepretation. Nowhere in the thread did I read anything about soldiers or war until you brought it up. My conclusion is that Moses and his people received help from God or other tribes or some external forces during his wandering around. I am saying that things haven't changed. Just because some invisible being told Moses to take his people and wander around doesn't make them soldiers during war.

I sure do!

Your analogies not only are terrible but you can't explain them...possibly because they dont make any sense.

Israelites wandering the desert for 40 years with no food != US army invading Europe

You are the one who made the erroneous comparison to welfare. Accept your failure and move on. No need to make yourself look bigoted too.

I now suspect you are simply trolling, for no one could be as obtuse as you are.
