What do you suggest I do with these images? I don't understand what you're suggesting exactly.Originally posted by: piasabird
Ho about the AI Girl???
I dont know if Guilty Spark is in the next one but that might make a nice image. Either that or a Wart Hog.
The reason for a frosted look to the window on the mobo-side panel is because I didn't want to be able to readily see the backside of the mobo tray. It just wasn't pretty. So, I frosted the acrylic over, and will be lighting it up so it'll glow of sorts. The reason for running leds behind there is because there just isn't any room to put any neon or CCFL's.Originally posted by: Brazen
I like the blue and silver. I think you should put a neon light behind the Halo 2 logo cutout to give the silver background a nice glow, and cover it with clear acrylic instead of frosted.

That's exactly what I was planning on doing, mounting them around the outside of the logo and attaching them to the back of the panel, therefore as not to have it noticable where each and every led is. Even if I have to place them more than a couple of inches away from the logo, I'll do it.Originally posted by: Cheetah8799

Careful with the LEDs, if you place them right next to the acrylic it will look like the light source is coming from a few spots, instead of an ambient type of light. Maybe if you mount them an inch or two away from the edge of the symbol it will give a better ambient light look. I think maybe a hot glue gun will mount them pretty well to the metal.
Whohoo!! Just got the leds in today. I hope to run to radio shack to pick up wiring and heat shrink, and I'll hopefully post pics later tonight of the results if I do it rightOriginally posted by: Cheetah8799
Nice update! I'm really waiting to see how the LEDs turn out though.
I like the way you stuck the two blue pieces to the clear window. Makes for a nice effect when one side is cut out of the metal, while the other seems to have the cutout piece "floating" in the window.
