Sure, your PC is a bit mismatched component wise and capable of pushing more than 1080P, but heck, nothing wrong about being proud and wanting to show off your rig! Even at 1080P you'll be able to crank up the AA and 'advanced' eye candy that perhaps you would not be able to do otherwise with a multiple monitor set up and greater resolution.

However, just a few words of advice.

1. The real wealthy do not brag about money, or purchase prices. Doing so in the way you have done comes off condescending and quite frankly a bit snooty. I assume this is a fantastic amount of money for you to spend on a hobby but try to keep your enthusiasm under wraps with regards to funding. There is noting you could post here and not have just about everyone know its value, to point it out as if it was a big part of your post seems troll'ish...

2. You do not need approval or acceptance to enjoy your hobby.

I know what it's like not having people in your 'real' life to show off to so I understand where you are coming from. It's a awesome gaming machine and I am sure you will love it! Before I had my daughter, I use to have a whole room dedicated to gaming. I had a top of the line Alienware PC at the time and 3 x 46" 1080P Samsung TOC LCD's in surround gaming, it was a beast of a gaming set up. My wife thought I was nuts and my family/friends thought it was oddly awesome.

Anyway, congrats on your PC and hope you can learn to enjoy things without others approval.

Nice rig. OC that CPU to 4.3 by changing the multiplier and nothing else. Leave voltage on auto and you'll be golden. This rig is perfect because a 690 is a perfect 1080p card with it's 2gb of ram. I'm glad to see you have a backup 690 installed incase your 690 happens to fail. Waiting for RMAs can suck so a backup is good. Needless to say, 4 GPUs with the ram of a mid range card can be a little unbalanced. But a backup is still great.
