My graphic accelerator keeps on failing.

i have always run my system on 1600x1200 resolution. but lately, when playing warcraft, my graphic accelerator fails on a few occation. when it fails, it would just go blank, and then in a few seconds it would come back on again (after the vpu recovers automatically) if it happens a few times in a row, my whole system would just froze.

can anybody please shed me a light to solve this.

Do all the generic troubleshooting stuff first i.e. make sure dust isn't clogging things up causing heat issues, make sure all fans are running, nuke all your vid drivers, run drivercleaner, then reinstall a fresh set that has good compatibility feedback with that title, and make certain you have all applicable patches/fixes for the game.
 
definitely COULD be a driver thing, I am still running on the 4.6's at home and they work perfectly for every game I have played.
