My Grandfather passed away. (Watching a loved one die: The hardest thing I've ever had to do)

I had a grandmother die last year and although I wasn't extremely close with her, I was tremendously sad when she passed away. It's hard to swallow the notion that someone whom you once knew and loved is now gone. It was hard on my mother, especially.

My best friend's dad passed away a few weeks ago. That was hell.
