My granddad needs a wireless setup in his apartment. Any recommendations??

My Grandfather is pretty much confined to his apartment bed. He's had alot of health problems lately, Anyways he's quite the internet surfer so my mother asked if I could hook up a wireless mouse and keyboard and maybe even get a larger monitor for him. I have checked around for reviews and stuff but I was wondering if anyone would recommend one. Money isn't that big of a deal he would rather pay more for a good setup then go cheap and get one that didn't work very well.
 
He wants to be able to have access to his computer without getting out of bed, I could probably get a large monitor maybe a 21" and somehow get a swivel stand a few feet away from his bed for it to sit on. but like I said in my earlier post I need to hook him up with a wireless keyboard and Mouse so the cables aren't constantly in his way. He's on dialup so the internet connection isn't the problem I'm sure he has a phone jack next to his bed.
 
Either the logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo or microsoft would be fine. Though they aren't optimal for gamer types, they should suit your granddad just fine.

 
Why not buy a laptop, wireless access point and wireless card for him?
He then can surf in bed with a stand.
