My gran isnt looking in too good a shape :(

she was diagnosed with dementia last year, now doctors are certain shes got parkinsons as well 🙁

and too think only 2 years ago she could hold her own, and be happy to see you etc...now she needs alot of care (mostly by my mother) and its almost like your a complete stranger to her, the way she looks at you.

her husband (me grand dad) died a long time ago of cancer, so maybe the lonely-ness and heart ache is what brings things like this on

i praying my mum n dad dont go the same way, i would look after them for sure, but its just not nice to watch some one you love deteriorate ... its like being forced to watch them slowly die 🙁🙁🙁

being old must suck

My grandmother died the same way & it was really tough, she died before my grandfather though & he made it to 97 years old before he passed away in 2004. Now my worry is that my mom will end up the same way... oh well, nothing you can do, hang in there man.

Yeah, it must be pretty tough being old. My grandmother died a few months ago from a stroke and my grandfather (other side of the family) died of colon cancer a couple months after that. Luckily, the grandparents that I have left are still pretty active and healthy.
