I am not sure why it is so slow to download

I can't fucking wait for Google Fiber. My neighborhood is 'rumored' to be one of the first wired in the city.... so we'll see!

Damn that's a hot upload. It's too bad they don't allow servers though.

I'd be starting a mini colocation business if I had access to a connection of that size that also allows servers.

I'm happy with my 50/30 fibre connection though, that is revolutionary for up north. 😛

Thats the speeds from my "server" not my main computer, what else am I supposed to do instead of leech?
Here is my laptop speed

Mmm... I wish that would show up around Dallas. I could probably hear TWC shit the bed from my apartment.

Man, I feel just like I did back in 1998 when I was still on 33.6k and people on forums were showing how fast they could download movie trailers with their new cable connections.

My [previous] BellSouth (ahem, AT&T) fiber speeds were approximate;y 1.5-1.8 Mbps downstream and ~280 Kbps upstream.

Of course this was back in 2001, but it is exactly the same thing today as they refuse to upgrade the platform--and even tried to secretly sell it off (and failed).
