My girlfriends 3DMark scores smoke my P3V4X scores (I have the better system)

This is really not right because I have the superior PC Here are the configs...

My config:
- P3V4X w/ bios [1003]
- P3600e ocd to 900 (fsb 150)
- Annihilator2 GTS2 w/ 32MB running at 4X
- Corsair PC133 128MB (2-3-2)
- Fasttrak66 raid 0 w/ 2 Western Digital 20GB 7200RPM drives
- Win98
- Sound Blaster Live Platinum
- 8XDVD 32x CDROM

My 3DMark99 score is 5960 (640 x 480 16bit)


I replaced my girlfriends old machine with a new box I made.

Her config:
- BE6-II rev 1.2
- P3550e ocd 733 (fsb 133)
- Diamond StealthIII Xs540 Extreme 32MB
- No sound card
- PC100 128MB ocd to 133 (2-2-2)
- Maxtor 13GB 7200 ultra66 RPM drive
- Win98

3DMark99 score is 7760 (640 x 480 16bit)

Does anyone have any idea why her system is faster than my config. I'm losing sleep over this I have tweaked my box and cannot get above 5900. I noticed the first two test start at a high fps on my system and then drop to 60 and stay there.

Also, my video shares an IRQ with (USB to PCI) bridge. Could sharing an IRQ be slowing me down, how can I dedicate an IRQ for my video ????

sores at low resolution are in no way an indicator of a graphics subsystem performance, how about re-running those benches at 1024x768x16 or 32bpp?

yup, i know, but it's look funny the gts 2 beat by Diamond StealthIII Xs540 Extreme 32MB!
can u feel strange when p2-450 more faster than p3-700 when they mark it??

Try disabling Vsync I think this is the problem.

- Obviously not!.

What about upgrading ya BIOS to 1005. See if that helps.
