Blues Traveler. "Stand" is my personal fav.
I'm surprised you didn't say Phish.

That's what I'm gonna say.

Nothing quite like driving around on a warm sunny day blasting a good live set.
Greensboro '04 is one of my favs. I was even there too!

Nothing beats the free feeling of Free by Donavan Frankenreiter

It's the ultimate chill out, feelgood, summer-y sounding song..

My favorite part is when Jack Johnson sings:
here comes
kona winds and the changing tides
we better drop them sails and get inside
when will the weather ever let us go
i guess we'll have to wait until the trade winds blow
and we'll be
free

on topic: play some britney to annoy the hell out of people

For those saying to just listen to what she normally listens to obviously have not driven with the top down... 😛
I honestly feel different driving that way... there are certain songs that go well with the wind in your hair and the sun on your shoulders.

EXACTLY. I was waiting for someone else to say it. People who think there's not a difference don't own a convertible, or live somewhere where it's never cold. The exhilaration is even more pronounced when you live in an area like the midwest where you can only drive with the top down 3 months out of the year; it becomes something to look forward to. They can keep thinking we're weird, I don't mind, especially when I'm blasting the tunes cruising down route 66 😉

Great suggestions everyone!

Nobody's mentioned ZZ Top yet? Boo 🙁

Against the Wind, Travelin' Man/Beautiful Loser (from Live Bullet) and Like a Rock from Bob Seger & Silver Bullet Band

Life in the Fast Lane, Boys of Summer, and I'm sure there are a couple more. Let me think a moment.

Nate
