My b/f of 5yrs fell in love with me on our first date. He started staying overnight, then weekends.. once he came over for a week and stayed 32 days. He bought me a house after 8 months.
He wants to marry me.
I say nope.
🙂

5 years an no ring? I thought it was supposed to be a 2 year cut off.

Why would you date him for five years, have him do all of this then not marry him and be proud of it?
...that's like having a sugar daddy. LOL! 😛

Hmmm... could be complicated. Real questions are, how much do you like this girl? and how much do you respect her?

If you just like her, think she'd make a good booty call, etc. then you can string this along for a while without much to worry about.Since it's SHE who confessed love first, she's already made a monumental commitment in her mind (well for a typical female anyway, and especially based on what you said about her history) and so is likely not all that willing to give you up easy. Heck, I've known enough girls who love the slime and stay by their side regardless of how they're treated.

Now, for the respect angle. If you respect her, and want this relationship to have some kind of a serious future, it's best to tell her to cool it. How you'd go about doing that I can't say, you know this girl best of anyone here. Since you're writing here and apparently feeling conflicted about her confession of love, you should explain this to her now, so she dosen't start making long term plans when you're still thinking about looking elsewhere.

The latter approach also has the added bonus of flushing her out if she's a realtionship psycho and regards you two as a couple already. If she acts like this is the worst thing in the world that's happened to her, and generally goes off the deep end, that's a pretty clear sign that the relationship was not meant to be. (yet)

this is the perfect time to take your sex life to a new and much more depraved level. You will soon know if she REALLY loves you...

Since when did my father start posting on ATOT?

Men give love to get sex

Women give sex to get love

It's that simple, look at Eakers post on the first page.

I had to convince them with money and well, choloroform. I WISH it was easy as a coy look.

I don't know you, but after reading your post, I think I'm in love

edit: seriously though, maybe she's a little emotionally immature. how old are you and her?

Say this to her: "If you really love me, you'd let me DYITB"

there you go, that is the litmus test right there. If she really loves you you'll be able to pull of the dirty sanchez.

Heh, you should be able to pull off the ATM.

No the litmus test is the reaction after you pull the Houdini. Look up urban dictionary if you're not familiar with the term.

personally i'd be weary with any girl that would try to woo you like that. then again, my gf is a rare breed these days--i had to work for her.

read this good read if you can get through it.

like one dude, i told her after 3 weeks and she didnt say it back until like 3 weeks after. you just know it. and no, no hanky panky until after. like i said, she's a rare breed. limited edition. now go get yours now.

edit: grammar. werd
