Eli, hope things are getting better for ya. My cynical nature says she had alterior motives and was just to chicken to tell the truth but who knows. Move on, learn and become a better person. Also, don't ever ever have joint accounts unless you're married (and even then... ). It causes far too many problems and leaves you very vulnerable. Take care of that stuff post haste bud, lest you find out you're in more than emotional debt.

I guess it's just not something I worried about. I knew this was a problem, and I did plan on stopping when I got a job - but it also perpetuated being able to smoke so frequently.. which made it hard to get a job. Viscious cycle. "
