You could always buy an Aluminum Driveshaft and install it. As long as you get rid of the old one before she gets home, what she doesn't know can't hurt you!

Buy a new CPU and video card? Burn the recipts and get rid of the old ones before she gets home and you're in the clear. What she doesn't know can't hurt you.
