You are the ones that made the subscription model work. You subscribed the day it was available, renewed the day your first year expired, & intended to renew again today. Wait, you can't. The servers will still be here, right until the very last subscriber drops off in 10 months or so. But you won't be here. Additionally, I'd like to add that the subscribers would link to threads that were unique to the subscribers. Us "plebes" would have to change the link to "forums.anandtech.com" to get the link to work for us. I don't think I'll miss having to do this task to get to one of their references. 🙂

I'm gonna say that vaseline would have to be RossMan approved. I mean c'mon it's got a $1.50 refund! 😉 😀

I waited a week to see how the subscriptions were going to go so I have 6 days left 🙁.

Fortunately the speed on dialup isn't that bad but I have 700+ PM's (so I can't reply or send PM's) and those annoying ads are everywhere!

Use a browser that blocks ads, not just popups.

Wow, way to make a big deal out of nothing. It's an internet message board, get over it.

The only remote sympathy i offer is the PM limit can be quite annoying when you are trading. Guess you'll just have to go through the pain of learning to use email for that purpose.

I can only access AT forums via the subscription server, as the government can't access, and doesn't know what I am subscribing to. But 'Forums' are unauthorized, as they allow you to communicate via non-government monitored paths. Unless they start capturing packets, which they are too lazy to do.

So when my subscription goes, I suppose so do I.
