My gf just called. said her car had been broken into. They broke the window. It looks like all they took was her make up bag.

The problem is (aside from the obvious) that make up bag probably has 600 bucks worth of shit in there. Her brushes are 100 bucks each, plus all the make up, which is expensive.

And then she has to get the window fixed

and she doesnt have a job, and is trying to get one and its really hard right now to find a job.

ugh. i'm just pissed.

This thread can go in so many directions, I'll just stick to saying "that sucks". I hereby grant you the power of Greyskull.

That sucks. My dad's car was recently broken into. I hope mine isn't anytime soon, but it's common in Los Angeles...

I try to keep anything out of sight in my car. Hopefully that works.

Was that her entire collection in her bag?

Tell her she looks better without makeup.

Most women do. Except for the fugglies, the ugglies, and the not-gonna-touch-these.

Maybe she is a professional? High end makeup can be expensive, as can the utilities to use it (requires many different types of brushes among other things).

That sucks, but I had a room mate back in college that had his window smashed and the only stuff that was stolen was less than a dollar in change from the cup holder and a name tag\badge from a trade show.

$150-$200 of damage for some pocket change and a piece of paper with a lanyard, and that to me just seems a bit worse.

So you find the post worthless...and to fight this injustice you decide to post in the thread and bump it up to the top again. Flawless logic.

That could have been a satisfying thread, with a good ending, now he just sounds like a dick.
