Ross, the 128MB 9800 Pro is 170 online right now.

Make SURE it's not a 128-bit memory model. Make SURE it says 256-bit memory. It's the latest scam they're running on 9800 Pros.

Edit: It's not hard to figure out the right forum either.

This doesn't say either way...

You shouldn't shop at places that aren't newegg or zipzoomfly.

Why? They have pretty good reseller ratings.

They tell you nothing about that card. You don't even know if you're getting a built by ATI or what.

Um... it says "ATI Radeon" -by that, they really mean "NVidia Radeon" right?

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-102-286&depa=1

That's the card that I'll probably get come next week.

Several different manufacturers make video cards for ATI. There's Hercules, Sapphire, Asus... uh... And so on. Same goes for Nvidia.

BTW, that card looks like a good pic. That's the one I have.

anyway get over it. it was a crappy GF4! get a 9800pro for less then $250

Hey! Don't put down the gf4 :(

Anyway, if it's $170 and it doesn't say, it's the 128bit version. I haven't seen / heard of the real one being anything less than ~$200 and while it may drop, and hopefully soon - it hasn't yet.

Yous guys need to spend more time in the Hot Deals forum. I got a 9800 Pro 128MB 256 bit from CompGeeks.com for $129 a while back.

I have no idea what forum to post this in

That is the biggest crock of crap since Clinton said "Define "sex".....".

You've been here longer than I; and that's a damn long time. You know we have a General Hardware AND a Video forum.

Pick one, Nik. You should hang your head in shame for setting a piss-poor example for all the ignorant newbies. Oh, wait......
