it says "Grumpy" which was my gang nickname way back when...now im 28 professional stayed clean off drugs, back to school, making money etc.

My GF hates the tattoo she thinks it ugly and it doesnt fit me anymore. But im attached to the tattoo...some of my best memories and friends were during that time period. It something that was in my past and made me grow up. I really do like this girl alot we talk about moving out of state and getting a house...i told her i'd remove it if i was married and my wife wanted it removed. Am i holding on to my past too much? or is it my pride?

girls of AT what do you think?
this is why no one should get a tatt at 16.

nobody should tell you to get rid of it though. it should be your own decision.

You should keep it, laser surgery is expensive and who knows if you'll break up with this girl. No one can tell the future. You may end up regretting it later.

tats are very unclassy. the girl i'm dating has one on her foot. frigging nasty ass green one of a butterfly. makes her look like white trash even though she isn't.

i'd say get rid of it.

Much as I would never let my GF tell me what tattoo to get... I wouldn't let her tell me what tattoo to get rid of.

It didn't bother her when she met you. No reason to change it now.

I would keep it. It's not like it's another girls' name. It's part of who you are and where you have been. She should respect that and love you regardless.
