My GF thinks she's pregnant

Been dating this girl for about a month now. She is on the birth control that is given by injection. About two weeks ago after an attempt at a new sexual position went bad, she had to take some pain pills that she later learned interfered with her birth control, and now she's thrown up for the last three morning in a row. She can't take a pregnancy test until her scheduled period hits next week, but all signs point to her being pregnant.

Lesson: Always use condoms even if your GF says she's on birth control. Having to face being a father with a new GF at 24 is not pretty. :(

Are you sure she is not just making this up as part of an elaborate ploy in which she is conspiring with her mom to force you to marry her?

yeah, that's the one. and whatever narcotics she was taking for a pinched nerve supposedly had a warning that it interfered with birth control. im praying her morning sickness is just phychological brought on by stress (she lost her job 2 weeks ago as well).

haha, no. I don't want to get too graphic as this is a family forum. :)

good point. but even though he made a foolish mistake, this could potentially be a life changing event. if he's lucky (pun intended :p )and happens to skim out of this one, im sure he will definetly learn his lesson. at least i hope so.

Stress can also alter her cycle. Perhaps a trip to the Gyno is in order?

Actually being preggo at 24 ain't too bad. You should probably have already graduated by now and have a job. If anything, at least the baby won't ruin your life by coming in any sooner.

No what you can do is to use the "withdrawal" method and the "biorhythm" techniques to reduce the chances of pregnancies even while she is on the pill or "injection".

yeah, that's true. It could have been worse. I could support a kid if need be...I just don't want that to happen as it certainly wont make life easier. I just wish that I knew this girl a bit better so I could gauge where our relationship should go if she is preggo. I'm certainly not ready to marry her after a month, although if it came down to it I'd do it for the kid's sake.
