Why? Do you all of a sudden lose your sense of humor when you start dating someone? Or is that you suddenly find humor in torturing everyone else?

You'll find that stupid stuff that you would normally not find funny will be hilarious if you're doing it with/to your partner. You basically lose a couple dozen IQ points.
