My GF is taking me to Olive Garden today :)

Love their breadsticks. Too bad they absolutely drench their salad in Italian dressing and don't offer any alternatives. I can eat Italian if its just a little bit on the salad, they don't stop until they can see a cup on the bottom of the bowl.

I'd make her take you to Macoroni Grill or something, better service and better quality food all around. At least around here.

all you can eat soup > the salad

zuppa tuscana FTW!

i dont know why anyone would prefer their generic salad to a nice bowl of soup

That's my strategy there 🙂 I order a dinner, eat all their soup/breadsticks/salad, then eat the dinner for lunch the next day. It's like 2 for 1!

My wife called me and told me to get home because the kids are at a friends.

My nooner > your lunch 😉

Nooners are nice, but tonight I'm being fed, then going to a movie then I'm getting some... and I don't have to pay a dime (well if you forget about the thousands I've already spent on activites in this relationship. I think it's at a 100:1 ratio in spending here 😀)

my night > your nooner.

Yes, the first time I went they were they had just opened and it was great. The next two times I went their food went downhill. Huge portions, but food was shiat.

go to a real italian restaurant, MUCH MUCH better

Word.

If I want to pretend I'm eating at Olive Garden, I go to the grocery store and find some frozen Stouffer's lasagne.
