My gf bought a fake LV bag on Ebay. Any suggestion???

I found that out after she won the bid, otherwise I would stop her not matter what.

We sent back the bag and asked for a refund, but the seller said our request is denied because she said it's authentic. She said she will refund only if we get a written proof from the 'LV store. The tricky thing is we found out the LV store wont give out written proof, they will only give us verbal proof. Seems like the seller did some research....

Another thing happened, the seller sent us back the bag, and the second bag is NOT the same one on the bid. That one is also fake after we went to the LV store.

I threatened the seller to give us refund back in 3 days, otherwise i will report to the police and ebay. Waiting for her reply now.

Anyone has suggestions?? Anyone know where i can get some help and suggestions? Thanks!

I take it he means a Louis Vetton (sp).
They got tons at the Compton swapmeet...and much cheaper than ebay 🙂

But s4eriously ask the store what to look for in a real bag...take pics of the fake stuff at least u have documentaion in case u call the po po

Louie Vouitton. The hand bags are pretty pricey. They can get up to high as $500 and more. Most of the stuff like Movado, Louie Vouitton are fake on E-Scam, you can buy fake ones in those little asian malls for cheap. I'm sure thats where the sellar bought it.

You can file a complaint with E-bay, doubt that will do any good. Did you pay with paypal? There is small chance they can help. Make sure you leave a negative feedback back saying this person sells fake merchandise and won't back up her claim its legit stuff.

LV means Louis Vuitton. Or spelt something like that.

I'd go through the police and ebay route IF she KNEW the bag was *authentic* in the first place.

If it was *really* cheap then I'd kind of suspect it to be fake. If she paid a lot for it then that would be more likely to be real.

I WOULD not be spending the amounts LV demand on a bag! I like my fashion and style BUT that price is crazy!

I'd rather buy a good hardcase luggage bag that looked and was strong for my luggage. Too bad I don't travel much so I dont' need one......

If the auction doesn't say anything about being authentic you probably don't have any recourse. You probably do now that she said she sent you an authentic one and it's not though.

Those bags suck my ass, she deserved to get ripped off. The fake ones are the exact same as the real ones. The real ones are not even real leather, what is she bitching about?

The same type who pay £50 a bottle of wine, £350 on a graphics card,

Actually, Ebay has a strict policy about selling replica product as the actual product.

Yup.

1-enjoy your nice bag, people get ripped off on ebay everyday, nobody is going to help you

2-don't buy crap from ebay

there you go, two suggestions

If the seller says the bag is genuine, and you can establish it's fake, call the cops. Getting busted for fraud will give him a change of attitude.

i'm sure that one would go over real well w/ asian chicks when used as a pick up line. 😀

I was in korea a few months back and brought back a couple o auth looking fakies for my friend's wife. even the fake ones were around $100 (expensive but pretty high grade, not cheap o chinese $2 fakies) a pop, not bad for a purse going 4, 5 times that. but then i'm a guy and who knows that's good or bad in women's purse. at least she likes it a lot, and thinks she got a deal, so everyone wins, cept for LV stores.

anyway, one thing's for sure, if it's too cheap to be real, then it'll be a fake even some found in AT deals forum :Q:Q
