Here are our expenditures for the month. I'm selling my car to save $550 or so. I don't really know what else we can really cut back. There are a few little things, but mostly we are putting left over money into paying off her CC's.

Car Insurance: $51
Car Maintenance & Fees: $54
Car Payments: $1030
Cash Withdrawals: $207
CC Payments: $678
Entertainment: $85
Furniture Payment: $108
Gas: $170
Gifts: $20
Groceries: $252
Misc Purchases: $356
Rent: $905
Renters Insurance: $70
Restaurants: $118
Student Loans: $326
Utilities(ELectric, Gas, Internet, Cable, Phones): $340
Washer / Dryer: $30

Cliffs:

Be a lazy bum and keep living with mom and dad.

You bought furniture? Payments? Can you say garage sale?

Good call on selling a ride. Paying more for a car than rent is BAD.

Cash withdrawls? Bet that's just wasted money. Fast food, beer, weed...

What's misc purchases?

Can you put all credit card debt into a zero interest card or a personal loan at a lower rate, like zero?

Keep working on it, it's hard to get rid of debt, but the first step is quit buying shlt on credit.

You can do it.

so much money :(
You buy cheap groceries? I do that and can cut my grocery bill almost in half, Aldi is really good for that.

(It was 200$/mo buying name brand stuff using Aldi though I cut it down to like 80$-90/mo for two people)

Go to Chinatown.

In Seattle, there's this ghetto chinese market called "Hau Hau"... Everyone that works there is dirty or poor... Mosquitoes are everywhere in the summer... But hey... its worth saving that extra $10 :)

Furniture Payment: $108

The best cheap furniture is boxes and a mattress. Boxes are great: tv stand, chair, table, shelf, something to put your feet on...yeah all kinds of things.

STi is $528. Her Forester XT is $478. We are selling mine, and going to share hers for a while to pay off credit cards.

You don't know what else you can cut back?

Let see, let start with restaurant, cash withdraw, cc, entertainment, gift, groceries, misc purchase. You should look at those really close and able to cut them down at least 25%.

Make a list of Have To and Nice To Have and start cut back on Nice to have.

The furniture is at 0%. It wasn't an absolute need, but it's better than sitting on folding chairs.

I'm not sure what all the cash withdrawls were. I think most of it was cash that she got out travelling on business.

Misc purchases has CPA exams, car advertisements, a couple kitchen things, some garment bag she got for carrying her suits.

She tried for a 0% card, but they declined her. Her score is good, but she just has too much debt. I'm going to have her try and get a consolidation loan for it.

Selling it and sharing her car for now. I'd like to sell her car as well, but not sure we can get what she owes for it.
