This is my first and probably last thread (for a while at least) about my gf. I'm not posting for any reason really, not looking for advice or anything.

She moved to Japan about 8 months back and won't return to the States for 3+ years. I have 1 more year of school before I could even consider going to Japan to live. So before we drag it on too long, I decided (while she partially agreed) to break up now while we still cared for eachother (I don't want her out of my life).

It wasn't fun but I think it was for the best. She was a really good gf, I mean really really good. Paid for way more than half of meals and other things. Really generous and I *NEVERRRRRRRRRRRR* ever had to worry about cheating in the slightest.

Oh, and I know you want pics and I did get her to agree that as long as her face isn't in it, I could post her pic (she doesn't like the whole strangers knowing who you are thing). So I will post a pic sometime, but not right now.

I'm doing a file reduction thing with mspaint. The pics take up half as much room and look exactly the same. Takes a little while, but it's coming!

I sure did. Not even 2 weeks ago. We talked about this before so it's not like I dumped her out of the blue. We were talking about it the day after I came back to the States. We just made it official last night.

We were supposed to talk about it while in Japan but I fvcked up and left 1 day early, while she was at work still!

I just read it. If it was meant to be it will happen. Long distance relationships are hard. Just hang in there buddy and everything will be fine.

Heh, well I assure you we won't be back together soon. Perhaps later on, in a year or 2. But not as a long distance couple.

As for me, I'm ok. She was pretty upset though. But we already have emailed eachother and I think it'll be a good post-relationship situation.
