My GeForce 5900 XT is causing problems all of a sudden

Everytime I startup my computer, it gives me an error message saying:

"The NVIDIA System Sentinel is reporting that the NVIDIA-powered graphics card is not receiving sufficient power.

To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations."

Which is just load of crap, cause it has been fine for several months now.

Yes, of course I checked the cables, blah blah blah, the manual doesn't tell me crap, nothing works.

Is my graphic card just busted? Or am I missing out on something?

Please help.

Oh man, I had a problem like that with my overclocked ATI 9600SE. I think what you need to do is possibly do another 10 point inspection of your system, INCLUDING your powersupply. If you say it has been fine for several months prior to this problem than all I can say is ITS A MONSTER AHHH UPGRADE YOUR VIDEO CARD to a 6800ULTRA!
