If you are denied the opportunity, this will also look good in your favor in the eyes of the ombudsman, as you tried to prove your innocence and were not treated fairly.

How would knowing the material prove that he wasn't helping her cheat. The prof accused him of holding his test up for her to copy. If he aced the test and then showed her the answers, and oral examination wouldn't clear anything up. All it would prove is that he didn't use a cheat sheet.

I have no idea how you can go about proving that you weren't helping her other than having her go in an say that you had nothing to do with it. You should also ask the girl if she really was cheating off of you. The prof may have been mistaken in what they saw. If the girl claims that she didn't cheat then you can have the prof grade the tests. It would be very evident from the answers if she was cheating or not.

I think a blowjob every night for 3 years is worth taking a class over. :D

That sucks, there isn't any way you both could retake the test?? It would kinda show who was cheating.

The policy most colleges use is both parties are guilty....it's really hard to have someone copy without you knowing from more than 1 or 2 answers (and regardless your fault for not keeping the answers covered as unfair as that can be).

Also there is never a doubt that one party in the pair knows the stuff....the doubt comes from was that student helping the other one...that's the grey area. Even if the other student takes the bullet that's a given after the fact. You can voice your case of course and hope for the best.

I know this has been said before, but I'm going to say it again anyway. :)

Appeal to no end. Talk to every person that is in the chain of command between your prof all the way up to and including the president of the university. It may be just one class, but if you didn't do anything wrong, I'd fight tooth and nail for every inch. :|

If all else fails, blackmail him with PhotoChopped images of him gettin' fresh with another student. :D Preferably male. And not you of course.

Nope.
Most have the policy that you are innocent unless there is substantial evidence against you, and then you almost always have the right to a trial by your student judiciary commity.

If your story is true, then appeal it and get that dirty slut to admit she was cheating.

At first I was going to laugh thinking this was HS. But if you are college, that is damned scary. I hope your school has student review board.

Go the Pricinpal tomorrow ASAP.

Get this FIXED! Have your parents come in if necessary to raise a stink.

CONFRONT THIS HEAD-ON while it's still FRESH. Go see the teacher after she's cooled down. Before school starts, talk to her and sincerely tell her the truth. And that you'll take the test again.

If this doesn't work, it's Principal time!

BTW, JH won't take your admission away. In case all fails (unlikely IMHO), call JH immediately and talk to the Admissions Dean about it.

BTW, congrats on your JH admission. You're a very smart guy. You worked hard obviously. Don't let this POS issue get you! ATTACK IT HEAD-ON as if ON A RAMPAGE!

Good luck!

Its not an issue about cheating, is a issue of collusion. IE: Letting her cheat, and there is no way to really prove either or, even if she says he didnt let her.

Just read the whole thread. I assume you're in College, no?

Well do the same. Kick this issue to Dean level. Tell them how hard you worked and got into JH medical. Tell them there is no reason you'd put this all in jeopardy.

FIGHT THIS.

If all else fails, still call Dean Of Admissions at JH.

I'd confront the girl and wear a hidden microphone to get her to admit.

Even if it's circumstantial evidence, at least it could help get you a retest!

Why would you hold your paper up high? Anyway, at least you won't do it again. Hopefully you will get out of this mess.

What professor? I'm at Hopkins too.

Edit: Oops, misread that. I thought that you were at Hopkins now. I wondered what you were doing taking bio as a senior pre-med here... :) Good luck!
