You're right....there isnt a point where you can cross the line. Should all V6's be outlawed ofr 16 year olds? There's no way something like taht could work.

The problem isn't really the car, it's the driver. I think that driver's education should be much more strict, perhaps be not done by school. I learned nothing from it, even with the 8 hours driving experience (more like 4). Graduated liscences are good, you can't get full privilges until about 17. There should be harsher penalties for younger drivers.

And an expedition isnt really that expensive of a car either...

But on the Corvette, I disagree. A 16 year old (Generalization) shouldnt drive a Corvette....theyre going to fsck around with it, show off, etc. There's not much reason for having a Corvette except for power and bragging rights...

You're missing the point. I know I am generalizing this, but 16 year olds don't have the experience and tend to be more stupid than a 45 year old Corvette owner. Why do you think your car insurance gets lowered once you get past the age of 25? Doesn't matter how you argue it, I rather be sitting in a Corvette driven by a 45 year old than a 16 year old fresh out of driving school.

Option 1: Tell him to get an old Jeep with a 258 straight 6, lift it a couple of inches, and put on some swampers. I've got a friend who did that, and lets just say there isnt much arguement about whether its a guy vehicle or a chick vehicle.

Option 2: Tell him to quit crying like a drunk who just fell down and broke his last bottle of liquor, and that he should attempt something called Operation Grow-Sack, which is growing a pair of testicles, rather than needing a powerful car to help him feel like a man.

A guy's manhood isnt insulted if his g/f has a beefier car than him. Say it with me now: It's not an insult, its a perk!
