My friend's Acura got stolen yesterday. Police found it and its a wreck.
Claiming it as a total loss.

Correction: Insurance covers the value of the vehicle, not necessarily what might still be owed on the vehicle in the form of a loan. With the Acura, this shouldn't be too much of an issue. However, with a vehicle with a horrible depreciation rate, it might be quite the painful process.

What's the issue about this? They give you enough money so you can get an equal replacement. You're gonna owe the loan no matter what happens to your car.
