my friends' baby is butt-ugly

You need to give babies 6-12 months to look their cutest.

At first I thought ours were fine, but looking back at pics, they look a ton better now than they did before.
 
LOL i remembere when my cousin was born, my uncle (the father) was going, "man, she's ugly, ugh, i'm disappointed..." We all lol'd at that comment. Obviously, after about a year, she looked much much more cuter.
 
he always shows me baby pics and is like "omg, gina's sucking her feet, isn't she cuuuute!?"

and in my head, all I can think of is no, dear god no.
 
How is it that all parents honestly think their kid is cute when some (like loki is talking about) are so ugly it seems impossible not to notice? I've come across this as well

A coworker years ago in NY had the cutest baby I have ever seen to this date. Only 4 months old, had an adorable face, well proportioned head, and sharp megan fox-type eyes.

Poor girl probably started looking like her parents after a year or two, but atleast had a few good months. 😀
