my friend needs some opinions on a car

he's getting a 1964 pontiac laurentian(catalina in the states) with 60k km's from his grandfather. are there any major problems with these cars? he's thinking of dropping a 350 in it, but wants some opinions on the car first. Anyone ever had one?

oh, and does anyone know where i can look up what it might have? we want to find out what options it had, rear end gears etc. it's been garaged for 2 years so we have to replace some hoses and such. It's an inline 6

Aw hell, just have fun. It shouldn't be a daily driver though, IMHO.

Do a Google search....you'll find clubs and forums which should be helpful.

It's a handsome car, but will be much harder to get parts for than an old Chevy. Personally, I'd leave it all stock as much as possible.
