Torturing animals is cruel and inhuman - no doubt. But he isn't a serial killer, he should look at hiring a councellor to deal with his obvious issues.
no one said he was destined to be a serial killer, but he is showing a sign of such.

Why would I need proof to the contrary? The other posters in this thread have done all of my research for me. From your link:
* Cruelty to Animals: Most children can be cruel to animals, such as pulling the legs off of spiders, but future serial killers often kill larger animals, like dogs and cats, and frequently for their solitary enjoyment rather than to impress peers.
They provide zero statistics that indicate what percentage of animal torturers become serial killers. They only state that serial killers have "often" tortured animals before moving onto humans.

Did all serial killers torture animals? No.
Does everybody that's ever tortured an animal become a serial killer? No.

Absolutely unacceptable. I have no issue with killing an animal (for virtually any reason), but you need to at least make a reasonable attempt at doing it humanely. Repeatedly taking it to the brink of suffocation & letting it partially revive is just fvcked up.

watching the movie, Of Mice and Men.

Killing to eat is OK in my book but to delberatly torment/kill for sh!ts&giggles is WRONG.

I had to drown a mouse once, but because it was more humane than not too. We had a bad mouse problem, little critter was getting into our kitchen drawyers and chewing open a bunch of stuff. My wife put in one of those sticky traps and it caught him that night. But he was so mangled up in that stuff that I couldn't get him off without cutting off limbs or tearing away skin/fur, and he'd have survived in a trashcan for days like that. So I put him out of his misery quickly.

We didn't have any choice, a live-catching trap wouldn't have fit in the drawyer. :(

yeah you can get feeder mice. just litttle whit mice.

But i never threw LIVE mice in with the snake. it can be bad for the snake. sometimes the mouse will attack the snake and do some damage. so i would try to kill it. just grab the tail and smack its head on the desk then toss it in.

But then i found a good deal of pre-killed frozen mice at WWW.MICEONICE.COM or at the local pet swap.

eh, that takes all the fun out of it. My python Lucifer would only eat the live rats I fed him :)

Those types of mice are meant to be fed to snakes.

:disgust: what? just because its white? Is it's DNA altered so it doenst feel pain? Are the breed to know that they are snake food only and cant wait to be thrown in a cage with a hungry python?? i dont get your logic?

heh if i throw a dead mouse in Monty (yes orginal name eh?) would not bother it. But i have a pair of long (about 20inches) tongs. I grab the mouse near the rear and wiggle it around (after i get it warmed up) and then he hits it. trick is to have it thawed and warm.

the ones i killed then gave to it were far easyer. just bang its head on the desk and toss it in. it would be loopy but moving. the snake then would attack it and eat it!

with rats thats a little harder. mean buggers they always try to bite me.

he said that he closed the mouth with his right index finger and covered his nose with his left index finger while holding onto it w/both hands. right after it started seeming like it would die, he would lay it on the floor, it would spaz for like 5 seconds, then his heart rate will start beating rapeadely again. he said he did this 3 times, each time getting close to dying, spazing on the floor for several seconds, just returning back to life. afterwards, he got tired of it, and didn't let go until it started seizing less in his hands.

Okay... now that you've perfected the sequence, try it on a cat.

Those mice are breed for the sole purpose of being sold to pet stores who then sell them for food. Yes they feel pain, but so f'n what... would feel less pain out in the wild when they were eaten?

People who own snakes that need to be fed live mice are just as fvcked up. They take pleasure in watching one animal die for no real reason.

If I had seen your friend doing that, I would have beat him. Probably with a blunt object. It's a FVCKING MOUSE. It doesn't hurt anything.

If he is truly a future serial killer, then you need to stay his friend. Haven't you people listened to Dane Cook? Think Buscemi ala Billy Madison

not only did i feed my snake mice, i'd shut off all the lights except for the red light in his cage, and then blast Rammstein or some classical to set the mood

I have done similar..

A bunch of mice pissed me off by going into my garage and crapped all over the place.. I don't know how they got in too..

One day I had a bucket just sitting there.. The fvckers just crawled in there and realized they couldn't get out... I grabbed one my airsoft guns and shot one once... He couldn't use his back legs.. Then I unloaded the full clip on both of them.. they both died..

I don't feel a bit mad... I told thos b!tches to leave me the hell alone..

:disgust:

You sir, are just as messed up as the OP's friend.

I shot once first to see if it would take 1 shot to kill them.. After seeing that I just unloaded.. the whole back legs things was just a accident I meant to kill it with 1 shot

It wasn't anymore cruel than setting down mouse traps...

I don't give a flying fvck if people think I am messed up, I don't have a heart for something that comes and craps all over my garage...

*finds another garage to squat in*

Killing it I can understand.

Doing that stuff, I think I'd find another friend.
