getting in a car with a drunk punk that can't even legally drive?
sober kids without liscenses can't drive well enough to be speeding like you said he was,
let alone a hammered one.
i wouldn't get in a car with a kid that has only had a permitt for a week...
you and this so-called friend are on a quick road to the morgue buddy.

Well like I said, I'm not getting in the car with him anymore, at least not for a while. Legally he probably wasn't drunk anymore (I think it's 5 beers to 0.08 and that's if you drink them fast), and it wasn't really the alcohol. He blew up cause of the bullsh!t that had happened, and I just thought he'd be driving like I or my other friend usually do when we're pissed off. Well, I was surprised! I was hoping he'd get pulled over by a cop after the skidding sh!t...

Yea, ok - you've exceeded your repost limit.

#1 - I wouldnt ride with him again
#2 - Did you give him a breathalyzer ? Is he a lightweight ? More than likely, his ass was intoxicated to a point where he shouldn't be drinking whether it was at a legal limit or not. Cops can still haul your ass in even if you've not exceeded the legal limit.
#3 - If he blew up and took his anger out on the road, let me know which road to avoid next time
#4 - Pick better friends.

Shaking my head for stupidity. And teens wonder why their insurance rate is so high.

Yeah, your bud is an idiot and you should of kicked his dumbass as soon as you got out of the car'
there isn't any reason for recklessly endangering your life or his.

Give it a time, he will be just another traffic statistic, unfortunately.:disgust::|

I just hope he doesn't hurt or kill an innocent bystander.

Well, I don't know what's going to happen. Let's just hope he doesn't get pissed off again and trash the car or worse kill someone. Me and my friend chewed him out about the whole thing and he seemed somewhat.. ah, I dunno the right word but he already knows we're not going in the car with him anymore ;)
I've seriously never seen him like that, alcohol or not. Can you get charged with DUI if you're under .08? Not that it matters, it's .00 if you don't have a full license. If we had gotten caught, he probably would have gotten slapped with $1000 fine and 1 month suspension (or 1 year, I don't remember), might have been a harsh, but good lesson if it had happened. The thing is, nobody else was out, not even cops, except for downtown which is one place where my friend drove slow.

Where are the cops when you need them.

Speeding, underage drinking, DUI.

Lucky you didn't end up DOA.

What could have possibly p!ssed off a 15 yo so badly to go and drink and drive like he's suicidal?

He's not crazy, insane, etc.

And frankly, you're just as big a dolt as he is for getting the car in the first place.

He's a panzy for puttin you in danger and not caring. He probably thought he was cool sh|t taking his friends out in his MOM's car after drinking a bunch of booze.

That civic would have folded like a tin can, and as many have said.. you don't realize how lucky you are to even be here to post this message.

Eh, he's the type to bottle it in, I guess. I've only lived here for two months and I've seen a lot of crap I wouldn't have guessed at. I'm still a bit shaken up today over the driving, even today. He's not 15, he's 18, and normally a pretty mature guy. That's why I was surprised when he was skidding over the place and really just going over the limits of the car. It's a damn civic.. if anything happened the car would be a crushed can and we'd be dead. Thank god for those winter tires...

Anyway, that was not the point of my post. Not that my friend's a total idiot (which he's not), or that I was retarded for going in the car with him (which in hindsight, I guess I was, and my friend as well! As they say, hindsight is 20/20!), the point was that he scared the sh!t out of me and I've never been in a car with someone driving like that. That night, anyways, he WAS insane.

Oh, this doesn't have anything to do with this, but another friend of mine was driving down the highway the night before and a Porsche went flying down the left lane on the wrong side of the highway, right by my friend who was in the right lane. He saw the car hit another in a head-on collision in the rear-view mirror. At first I thought he was bs'ing, but then I heard about it from other people, too. That is pretty damn crazy...

You did a good thing by posting here, lots of people don't have the ballz to show themselves or their friends in an unfavorable light.

I'm in the same boat. Our lives would be so much easier and cheaper if we could eliminate all the dumbfvcks who are teenagers like us. Too bad they can only do it to themselves and raise our insurance premiums by doing it.

You're kidding yourself here. Either that, or you just don't know any better. 5 beers will put you well over the legal limit for many hours. Even one beer (yes, just one) can put you over the legal limit for two hours or more.

If you drink 8 or 9 beers, you need a good nights sleep before you can even think of driving.

Friends don't let friends drive drunk, your friend was drunk, you were a lousy friend.

DO NOT RIDE WITH HIM AGAIN! Your life depends on it, he WILL do that again, he WILL hurt someone sooner or later.

Sigh, kids think they know everything...

It can be .00 and still be DUI. Think about it, WHAT DOES DUI STAND FOR?

Hint: The word alcohol is not in the definition of DUI.

If we had gotten caught, he probably would have gotten slapped with $1000 fine and 1 month suspension (or 1 year, I don't remember), might have been a harsh, but good lesson if it had happened.

For driving that fast with that much beer in him and him being 18, I would expect at least some jail time. I would sure as hell hope so anyway.

Does he even realize the danger he put you in? It's a miracle you're alive.

Drunk drivers suck to begin with, but people like your little sh!thead friend probably don't even pay for their own sh!t and risk the lives and properties of people like me.

with a G1 you are allowed a 0.00 alcohol limit.
