My friend is getting his ride pimped by MTV Pimp My Ride. It airs today.

For those of you who watch the show regularly, which is probably very few of you. My friend is getting his 1980's Dodge Caravan pimped. Well it's already pimped but the show airs today.

by "pimped" you mean taking a crappy car that barely works, just revamp the whole thing, making it completely undriveable (because the XX grand they put into it makes it a huge liability), replace all the room it has with 42" plasma tvs that have no use while you are driving, and to top it all off they fill your trunk with a platinum lawnmower that you can take wherever you go?

I guess the two other people who did the same taping weren't as good.

But knowing how the taping worked, I bet they had to do it more than once to get it right. Probably the first time MTV didn't like how he reacted so they might have had him do the reaction again. And each time you do it, it's different and they pick the one that seems the most natural. If they don't like what they see, they make you do it over again until you get it right their way.

PMR is horrible. They go for looks, meanwhile the car will still fall apart in a few months because they do nothing to the engine, transmission, suspension, etc.
