Scandal in America can make someone wealthy and an instant celebrity today, except for politicians.
To see the difference look what happened to that Hong Kong celebrity when his pictures ended up on the internet or that Vietnamese reporter when her sextape ended up online. Their careers were damaged and they both publicly apologized something you rarely see in America anymore.

She's a woman who has such little self-image and self-respect that she's relegated herself to be a whore regardless of what outcome is attained...she was a whore for money when it was conveinient and now she's a whore for the media now that it is conveinient. This woman will never become more than what she's set for herself...a whore plain and simple.
She cares not what damages and embarrassment are brought to her family and herself. All she seems to care about is money and attention. The girl shown in the photos is pretty physically but is grotesque one-layer deep. How she can stand herself right now is beyond me...instead of going somewhere and looking within to what precipitated her demise (and yes, this is nothing more than the beginning of a horrendous end for her if she's not careful) she's glorifying it and trying to take advantage of it. Nothing but bad coming from this one...everyone get your popcorn and soda because we got a trainwreck to watch.

Anyone see that interview with the Cathouse girl on the Today Show (i think)? She claims to be pulling down half a million a year and plans to retire in a couple of years. Oh yeah, she's only 27. High end Whoring is like Wall Street, Professional Sports, and Drug Dealing. You get in, you make your money, you invest that money and don't try to live like a Hilton, and you get out quick before it destroys you. Then you live it up on a beach somewhere for the rest of your life.

You also need to read the definition of a prostitute...she WASN'T having sex with whoever SHE wanted...she was having sex with whoever she was told to and the only reason was for money. If you're so for prostitution, then toss your wife/mother/sister/daughter into it...you're the one with the double-standard.

I actually do feel bad for him. This really is a victimless crime and it never really affected his ability to do his job. But his career is over now. His wife is supporting him so why he has to resign over this I don't really know. Hell, Bill Clinton survived a somewhat similar scandal when he was President. Just because he was paying for it? I don't see the big deal.
As for her? I couldn't possibly care less. She was making a ton of money before and she'll probably make even more money now...she hit the fucking jackpot.

my definition of whore is different than most of u, i think. this being a tech (read = geek or nerd) forum, i'd say most of u are a lot more conservative than the rest of the population. Ashley's single, attractive, young, and an aspiring singer. living in NYC isn't cheap. it never ceases to amaze me how guys are so quick to jump to blame women. fvckin double standards. i see it as a business transaction whereby a wealthy politician (or whomever her other clientele may be) wanted some pootang and she fulfilled the request(s). the whole thing was supposed to be done in discretion. and not to mention that it's the perfect scenario of no strings attached. what was soooo wrong with what she did? if everyone's only real answer is that she had sex with multiple men.......oh puhhhleaze. i would wager to say most professional athletes (and politicians) have equal the number of partners, but nobody's labeling them all the hideous terms. :roll:

There is a big difference in sleeping with people, even multiple people and then doing the same thing for money.
All beauty and talent aside, this chick was a whore in the purest form. I won't say I blame her, but let's not try to paint it any other way than it went down.
Had she not taken the cash for the sex, I'd have no problem with her actions at all...even if there were 30 dudes in a train on her ass.
That said, I don't have anything against prostitution.

The main problem most have with prostitutes is not so much their experience, but getting involved with one. Who is to say she doesn't work on the side a bit? In her mind sex is a commodity and often not deemed part of a 'relationship' while most people (incorrectly) make monogamous sex the center of one.

Again I say to everyone encouraging, cheering and supporting her choices...if what you say is what you feel then you will have no problems with urging and supporting your wife/daughter/sister to go ahead and get in that line of work since it's so lucrative and is a "victimless" job. You should have no problems with dating/loving/marrying one and being proud of one either. I don't know if you have daughters...but I am sure you are the type that would keep them from being a sexual adult as much as possible filling their head with things that will come back to cause them issues in life.
When a child becomes an adult as a parent you are really just along for the ride. You hope the foundation you provided will guide them in life, but a lot of times they make the last choice or one you'd never make.
Just based on threads I see here when a celebrity comes forward that they have slept around a bit; most want to lynch her...today it's 'cool' to like this chick...onces it's old news they will be calling her slut/whore/etc.
Once most of these guys start dating instead of just thinking the first girl to give them sex should be their wife, they will realize a woman has had a lot more experience and desire of more than the media often portrays.
