MY fridge smells like the air inside a beach ball

I can't figure this out.


It smells wierd not funky like a stink but some weird ass sterile plasticky type smell..

Like the inside of a inflatable raft or the the inside of a water gun or something.. I know i've smelled the smell before..not exactly sure where.

Anywyas. fridge inside and freezer is smelling liek that now.


Took all the old food out.. Gona do a full clear tommorow i guess.

And defrost it.

It's totally infitrating the ice cubes and shit.


Arghh.. cant figure out what it is!

Idk.. it's pretty modern. Came with the place.

Maybe 5-10 years old?

Some good ideas here.

If your fridge is as new as you say, it shouldn't have too much if any frost in the freezer. Maybe the defrost heater is on the fritz and it's giving off an odor.
