Argh.. I get so angry when I'm reading posts that ask a question and some random poster just puts in 'I like pie.' WTF is that. Has it ever been funny?

BTW, please don't say 'I like pie.' in this topic.

Seriously.. whatever happened to just talking about the topic the poster originally posted?

It stemmed from when people thought it was hilariously funny to be "random", and since 'I like pie' is about as random as it gets, they throw it out there for lack of anything useful to say.

It's bugged the SH|T out of me since the first time I heard it back in 1993.

I've had some 18 year Gelenfidditch and I didn't like it very much. It tasted sorta like fruity vomit. I'll stick to vodka and bud light.

You have to have good scotch for scotch to be good. Try some 12 yr Macallen...or 18 yr if you have the $$

I only do it when some idiot keeps bringing up a topic which is totally inappropriate or has been bumped to death with no conclusions. It get pretty ridiculous how many people are so opionionated without being able to agree to disagree that they just keep mouthing off and the topic goes from just the topic to talking about how "stupid or ignorant" another person whoh disagrees with you is. That kind of childish behavior (stupid and ignorant) deserves stupid comments.

But...but...I really DO like pie! I love pie, actually. Best dessert ever. And my mom makes wicked pies.

So technically, saying I like pie is correct. Just not really suitable.
