This is the first time I tried to OC my system, and I don't think I did everything right. I followed this guide on OC'ing.

I have:
Abit AV8
AMD 3400+ (939)
2 x 256MB Crucial PC2100
Stock Cooling

I know the memory is limiting what I can do thus I just want to practice before getting my new stuff. After I get the OC'ing technique, I plan on getting 2 x 1GB Corsair PC3200 and either and X2 3800+ or and Opteron 165. If I'm missing something or you need more info, please let me know.

My CPU-Z

Thanks

I'd figure you should be able to get higher than that. Do you have the HT set at x3?

That should be fine, set the memory divider at 100 the memory maybe limiting your o/c considering it's PC2100.

Well, I did a little better, I changed my timings and was able to up my FSB. I think I'm having trouble with the timings and knowing exactly what those numbers mean and what to change them to to get the desired results. Right now I just changing them base on suggestion from what I read not know what it is doing.

try looser timing on your ram, this might enable to push you fsb even more.

Set your ram voltage to 2.8v and try 3 4 4 8 timings.
