Fry's is the Devil!!!!

I've had friends that had to switch credit cards (to AMEX or Discover? I forgot) to a credit card Fry's didn't take because they couldn't stop buying things there. You sound like a person that will soon regret Fry's when you see your credit card bill. 🙂

I was bored last night so I drove to fry's and bought a KVM 😛

ah, nice, thats not too far away I guess

Do they sell BAWLS?> I know compUSA does

Good luck ever trying to return something. They have terrible customer service, terrible return policies, and it'll probably take you and hour in line just to have someone tell you to fvck off.

Within the last month, I've been to Fry's (City of Industry) on 4 different occasions, including yesterday, trying to get parts for my new computer and to replace parts from my old one. I've charged over $800 on my credit card.🙁

I bought all retail parts for my computer and going back down there would be to much of a hassle for me.

10 minutes and 35 minutes away from fry's. in fact, im on a 15 mile stretch of freeway that has the following stores: fry's, (2) best buy, compusa, office depot, circuit city, and a staples. price matches are never an issue. 😉

AAAAAAAAARGH!!!

You make me green with envy!!!

😉

hah i live 20 min from 4 frys 🙂

You must live in San Jose area. 😉

There are no fry's that I know of in the south jersey area 🙁 sounds like an interesting place though.

I went to the frys in Houston (up north) and didn't think it was worth the 50 minute drive. Sure, it had a ton of stuff but the prices were all that great and the staff was far from curtious. They didn't even have what I was looking for! (itrip mini)

You're kidding right? The only problem I have ever seen with Fry's is that they take back returns almost too easily (because they usually just re-shrinkwrap defective items and put them right back on the shelf). I've been going to the Wilsonville, OR Fry's since they opened it (8 years ago?) and have never had a return/exchange denied.
Customer service is a little on the weak side, I admit, but the sale prices more than make up for it and, if you know what you're looking for (which you should), you shouldn't really need any customer service anyway.

All within a 1/2 hour drive for me, 4 now in the Dallas area:

East Dallas
Arlington
Irving
Plano

The 2 newest stores in Irving and Plano opened in the last year, and are much nicer. The first two were built in ex-Incredible Universe sites, and resemble a wholesale club inside.

sunnyvale fry's is the best fry's I've ever been in

only after they rebuilt/remodelled it. I think that was the very first Fry's site.

they actually moved. their original store was tiny. it's down the street from the original store which was always HELL to park in.

n00bs. 😉
the original store was across lawrence expressway. the current store is the 3rd sunnyvale store.

I wish we have Fry. We only have BB and CC and that was just recently. The closest Fry is 3 hrs away in East Dallas (near Sam Club).

I told you it would be worth it! 🙂

I am glad I took your advice. The place is like Disneyworld to the tech junkie 😉

Ausm

I know. I told my wife that a Fry's that close to our house may lead to divorce. 🙂
