take at least 160Gb HDD...can you tell the prices of components you are taking and how much budget do you have?!

Cheaper RAM than ballistix, if you can get 2GB of budget RAM then that's much better than 1GB of overclocking RAM, if not then 1GB of value RAM is much better value than overclocking stuff, the money saved can go towards the CPU.

stick with a 3200+ for the cpu...unless you can somehow get upto a dual core 3800. if you can wait until july 24, amd is cutting prices and the 3800x2 (dual core) will be around $169.

i agree with bob, crucial is great ram for overclocking but i don't think you'll be doing much of that. try getting some cheaper ram from g.skill, corsair, ocz, patriot, or kingston. try getting 2x1gb.

could you tell us the prices you can get these items for in pakistan? and are there any websites that you can use to purchase your items? if so, list them cause we might be able to find some better parts....

If you're overclocking then get the cheaper one. They'll both OC to around the same point.

If you're not overclocking then more CPU is always nice to have, but it's not essential. If you can get 2GB of RAM, the 7900GT and still afford the 3500 then go for it. If not then i'd drop the CPU to the 3200 before losing any of the rest of it.

There is no real-world performance difference

I don't believe in getting a coolermaster psu as the best option. "They've done studies you know... 60% of the time, it works every time." To quote anchorman of course, but I gues that applies to this psu as well. Perhaps an enermax liberty 400w or even a fortron 450w. The fortron is $50 which is a great buy for a good. Everything else people said is great.

the msi neo4 platinum is probably the best nf4ultra board out there, but it's more expensive than the a8n-e. Both are great ocing boards, but the a8n-e has had a few problems, the 1t bug. I'd recommend it despite.

i have oc'd on both of them, and i found them to be very equivelent. I would go with the asus, just because they have some cool bios auto resets for when your computer wont post.

Just did a quick check. 52000 Rupees is about $863 USD. Thought I'd mention it to keep reccomendations in line. :)

The difference is that there is no IEEE 1394 (firewire) support on the neo4-f. There is on the Platinum. I believe the Platinum model was discontinued so that's not going to be an option anyway.

I live in India and even here the variety you guys are talking of is not available.

I would suggest:

Wait for Intel Core 2 Duo more price falls else,

amd 64 3500, there is very little difference in price between 3500 and 3000 or between 3500 and 3200, the price diff will be like 10$ here.

Asus A8N E

X1800XT, if very expensive as here then get 7900GT

1GB X 2 DDR 400 transcend (UCCC chips, if not available then get Hynix D43 chips)

atleast a 160gb hdd, 250gb is for 4200 and 300gb for 4800 only

Antec SP(Smart Power 2) 450 or Antec NeoHE 430
