lololool..

Well, more like the Devil's "gift" to humanity. It's cheap, sinfully good, and not that healthy for you... but still ohhhhhh sooo goooooods.

In-N-Out is nice, but I guess growing up with like 5 of them within a 15-minute-drive radius you get tired of it.
Five Guys is great, but too expensive IMO.

WTF? Guess I won't ever be eating there.

I have no problems with someone being religious, but I don't think it needs to go on their food.

You won't eat there because they have something printed on the bottom of their cup? LOL, pathetic.

QFT.

Then it would also be pathetic if a Christian would need eat at an establishment that had "al-Fatihah 1: 1-7" on its food.

I'd rather not eat somewhere that puts Bible verses on the food. I can choose to eat wherever I want for whatever reason and they are free to put whatever they want on their food.

I'm not being insulting or high and mighty. Just saying that I'd rather not eat there since our ideological beliefs clash, same as the analogy above.

Do you have any problems using US currency?

Both are equally pathetic. The fact that you refuse to eat food you enjoy because of their religious ideology means you're just as closeminded at the people you hate.

The best burgers come from (in my opinion - especially if you're going to bother spending the dime) Ruby Tuesday's. Chili's burgers aren't bad either. But of course neither are "fast food".

ruby tuesday's and chili's? wtf?

Son you failed.

Go to Five Guys before you man up

he got it from a truck, they didn't serve fries. It's not his fault.

Thanks for the defense Corpy. Some people need to learn reading comprehension.

How so? If the cups said "All hail Lord Satan" you can bet the Christians would get their panties in a bunch over it. You vote with your wallet and choosing not to do business with people who believe in invisible men in the sky is a perfectly valid option.

Like I said, they're not "Fast food". But if I want a "good" burger from somewhere, that's where I'd start.

i dont like religion but i go there anyways.
put it this way, they treat their workers far better than other fast food chains. so the way i see it, it cancels out the religious stuff.

It's not on the food. It is on the bottom rim of the cup and the edge of some greasy piece of paper you throw away after you eat your fries. I'm not religious at all, in fact, I question religion more than most and this is a non-issue AFAIK.

Their food is good, it is served fresh and sourced locally (never frozen). This is a good thing.

Were the burgers free?

And how'd you order your burger?

(Looks like you just ordered it straight up.)

I usually order 2 Double-Doubles, well done, no spread, extra onions.

Glad you enjoyed it.

How many heart attacks have you had?

Uh oh. I called down the "since you don't agree with something you are a hateful bigot" people.

I just find the irony very funny that you chose to spend something that says "In God We Trust" on something that doesn't have a God based reference.

Not exactly. It's really silly not to eat somewhere because of some text imprinted on a cup and a bag. I guess you don't have any friends from different religions either...

Do I have a choice to not use US currency?

Let me guess: "if you don't agree with it then move somewhere else!"

My personal opinion would be "In God We Trust" is a clear violation of the First Amendment. That's for a different thread.

I absolutely do.

Why is it wrong for me to choose not to eat somewhere that puts religious material on the wrappings?

I'm not being intolerant, I'm not being hateful. They are free to practice any religion they want, as am I. As was stated earlier, if a cup said "Praise Lord Satan" I would expect Christians to not eat there for the same reasons I am.

It's a perfectly legitimate choice to make.

You find irony and humor in the fact that I choose not to support an establishment for religious reasons yet I have no choice but to use currency that references a deity?

Sure, I'd call that ironic.

It's not wrong, nor am I here to tell you it is. BUT, it does seem silly *shrug*
