Nice box, I just sold my Tiger MP + dual 1800 system.

I'd had it for almost a year, & the P4's were just looking too good.

They are definitely nice systems, though, but a bit awkward if you don't truly have a use for them.

I'm getting a dual 1200MP system on S2460 some time next week. It will finally be here.

The one problem I had was setting the power switch from my case onto the motherboard. The instructions in the manual kinda looked upside down. I thought my motherboard was dead, when it wouldn't start up

Other than that, it was a breeze to setup.

You did the exact same thing I did, it took me quite a while to figure out I was counting from the wrong damn pins.

I figured it was my mistake, it just took me quite a while to catch it. The manual is a little unclear on that.

I actually called Tyan up. I think it may have been a common problem, becuase the tech support guy sounded like he was reading off a cue card as he walked me through finding the right pins

I did for quite a while on my 1800's, I put out a consistent 12 WU's a day - 6 per CPU.

I imagine 2000+'s would do 13 WU's a day.

whoops, I check IDE-RAID by accident. I have a RAID PCI card, but that's just so that I can put my 2 HD's and 2 CD-RW's on their own channels.

You guys must be smoking something, I didn't have any trouble with the power switch when I built a Tiger MP system for a client. Or maybe I was the one who was smoking something and by dumb luck got it right. I can never be sure...

Got the Thunder K7 running 1 GB of RAM and a pair of 2000 MP's.

VERY SWEET!!!!!

It's one of the servers we use for thetechboard.
