*E4400/E4300 (please help me decide which one should i buy , i intend to mild overclocking)
*Asus P5B mobo
*1 gig of Corsair value ram 667( ill buy another gig soon)
*8800GTS 320mb
*Western Digital 8mb 160 gig hardisk
*Cooler Master Extreme 550 watts Power supply
*A no-name casing

i have got a very tight budget and if you want to suggest compnents please do from this website

- Go with the E4300 as the price will drop after the weekend, to an even lower point.
- Get a hard drive with a 16MB cache. The WD2500KS or WD3200KS (250GB or 320GB) are good value for money. The Seagate 7200.10 series are good too.
- Get a Seasonic 420W or Corsair 420W (or something round about that, from seasonic, corsair or enermax).
- Get the Asus P5B-Deluxe or (if you need something a bit cheaper) the Gigabyte DS3.
- Get whatever DDR2 RAM is cheapest for a 1GB stick. You can go as low as DDR2-400 but I think the best offers are on DDR2-800 on NewEgg at the moment.

hey what about overcloking potential of e4300 and e4400 ? do bth offer same overclocking ? i just intend to mild overclocking in range of 2.4-2.6 Ghz maybe ...

That's a widely debated question, I am going to say that the e4400 will edge out but the price difference might not make it worth it. A no-name casing is usually fine, just make sure it was a few good features before dropping the dough on it. If you keep it for a long time it will make a difference in my opinion.
