My first build, What video card????????

I didn't buy anything yet, but I will have a amd probably 1.8gig on a epox board.
With this machine I want to be able to transfer my camcorder tapes into digital format, also I like some offline games. I am currently using a 380 mhz so this should be a jump. Please help me choose a good card.

hmmm...looks like u got ur info wrong...unless u overclock...there r currently no amd 1.8...if ur talking about the xp1800+...the speed on that thing is 1.53...it still kicks ass...but if u plan to overclock...then goosh...i say u get a geforce3 ti500...haha...for gaming and stuff...offline wouldnt be a big problem but if ur more into graphics and digital pictures and photos...then i say u get the radeon 8500 due to its awesome image quality...get the epox 8kha+...its good stuff...BTW...do u know how to edit profile???
