I think it looks good, and have some fun...

I have 2 concerns though...

1)The cooler master for the HSF...I am concerned that this HSF just wont cut the mustard at this high end tbird...definitely won't handle any real ocing if that is a plan...Give more specs on the model number maybe I am wrong, and they have something new.

2)watch the issues on the usb mouses...get all the software patches and updates...do a search here in the forums and see if you can find some of the older threads and try to head off any problems before they arise.

edit: make sure that maxtor 40gig ata100 is a 7200rpm drive and not 5400rpm...as that is one helluva performance hit...if it is tell me where you found this deal at...

My KK266 likes USB mice. Just doesn't like HP's printer driver under W98 over USB, fine in 2k. No filter driver needed, mouse just took off running (not literally of course).

make sure that the psu in your old case is enough to handle your system...i recommend nothing less than 300 watts for an athlon based system...and you might want to put a little more money into your hsf if you r going to be overclocking, those chips get pretty hot

If you're getting a Maxtor check Staples.com. There are pretty nasty online coupons available (like $25 off $100) at a well known coupon site. I got a 7200 60 gb for $165 about a month ago (I think they've since raised the price 20 bucks).
