Getting FiOS installed tomorrow. I'm content. Cumcast has been messing with our internet speeds for over a month now. We are supposed to be getting 50mbps down but we get around 12mbps......as of late, we are getting 3mbps.

I kindly called them and told them to cut their signal to our house off.
 
I get about 57/12 currently with cable. I'd like to get FIOS but not available.

I will be moving in a few months but it is the same area, so will have to go the cable route again. I think I can get 100/25 or something like that but it's $100 or $120/mo. Not paying that.
 
Curious about google fiber. But Comcrap has been ok for us so far. On the 50mbps plan. But it seems to reliably be closer to 100Mbps. Nice for downloading new games from Steam at 10MB\sec.
 
Hah, I have 80/30Mbps in my tiny little town in New Brunswick, Canada. And no cap 😀
 
I am probably just going to get the free plan, but I will at least talk them into giving me a month of Gb to try out
 
I could never justify paying over $100 for TV. I watch 5-6 hours a week. It would come to over $4/hour.

I don't even watch TV... Wife wanted it... cuz what if our son cannot talk with his friend about kids shows? :colbert:

$36.99/month + tax for me. Local utility districts fiber. 400gb cap, but they havent made me pay for going over yet. Looks like they lowered the cap to 200gb now.

I would take that any day of the week!

Personally I rather never have to pay over $30 for internet services. Prefer $20 and have at least 50/10 setup. Right now I'm at like 18/2 with Timewarner and having to pay $70 a month for it. Fucking ripoff 🙁

I do drop out of state a bit, but I'm usually north of 85 down. Up will drop to 15 over most of the country, still fast as sin:thumbsup:
