Liar. I absolutely do not believe you.

Kidding, I just got a PM from someone welcoming me to the site as well.

Fun times over there also!

BTW - if you want gold - just play the AH. My 43 priest has accumulated nearly 13k just from AH activities (buy cheap & resell, sometimes buy/modify/sell). Combining two crafting professions = win (ie enchant gear you make, prospect ore you mine, etc).

i played the ah game for a long time back before BC came out. i got sick of it. i got on an alt last nite and sent my main 1500g to bring me up to 6100g, ill get my mount tonite probably lol. i know as soon as i do the price will drop in V3.2

edit: bad math. ewps

Don't you need 6200g? The training is 5000, the mount is 200 and the CWF is 1000. If you buy the mount from Mei Francis in Dalaran (she also sells the exotic mounts), the epic flying mount is only 160g.

Also, don't fret... only faction discounts will apply to the epic flying now, which means that technically, yes it will be cheaper. It will be 4000g instead of 5000g with the 20% exalted reputation discount.

Translation:

He played the original World of Warcraft (nicknamed: vanilla WoW), before Burning Crusades (the expansion) came out, and he ended up being bored by the game. Then last night, he started playing again on a character he does not normally use (alt = alternative character), who happens to have a lot of gold currency, to transfer to his main character. People generally have two to three other "toons" they use with different professions in the game to make as much money as possible, to send to their main character to buy the main character the best gear.

With this amount of money, he will buy his "mount", which is an animal to ride, thus increasing your speed to go from place to place. V3.2 is version 3.2, also known as a "patch". You can probably guess what a patch is, and sometimes prices drop when patches come out to fix new bugs. He's going to buy the mount anyway, despite knowing if he waited just a little longer, he'll buy it for a lower price.

Does that make sense now?

My alts normally have more gold than my main. They don't have to buy expensive jewels, enchanting mats, etc etc - just buy & sell in AH to make mad profits. My second highest toon topped 14k a few days ago but is now around 13k after stocking up on some bargains. Meanwhile my main has been sitting around 5-6k for a while (I keep spending on stuff that doesn't bring a return).
