My FedEx package is being held at customs in China

didn't know that Mac computers are shipped from China 😕. I understand why they would hold it if it was shipped from someone else.

I wonder how long it's going to take

Update: It's now Tuesday afternoon, and Fedex tracking says that it's still there. This sucks! It's been there since 4:09am on Satarday morning

yup, I'm serious.
They might ship all their minis from the US, but I guess if you customize it they ship it from overseas

Almost everything comes from china. Customize a laptop and you have to wait for it to pass customs in China.

One time I had a Maxtor drive replaced under warranty, I got an e-mail it was being held in customs in Anchorage, Alaska ??

Turns out they shipped the refurbished replacement directly to me from Malaysia, by way of Alaska. I live in Ohio, btw.

When I ordered my Nano it took 3 days to ship and 2+ weeks in transit. I'm in Canada BTW.

I almost wouldn't buy from Apple again as a result.

Their factory is in Shanghai, China

I know that all customized ipods are made in the factory and shipped by fedex.
You probably had some customizing done?

Customs will be customs

Edit: Its international shipping by fedex or you could blame the customs
