My face is half frozen!

Just got back from the dentist after having a filling replaced. I also had to be fitted for a night guard (grinding teeth). Now the right side of my face is so frozen I can barely talk! Good thing I'm typing!

Thank you for listening I'm done whining now!😱

I don't look any different I just can't feel the right side of my face! Find the Vancouver Geek Meet thread I'm in there if you really need to see a pic!😉

Well today I was outside with just a t-shirt and vest yes and pants....ect. to stop all other silly remarks. And it was beautiful here! But that's Vancouver winter for ya!

I hate that 😛

I had half of my ass check frozen (as in pins & needles) when I was waiting for my shift in the weekly floor hockey game. Then when I finally got on I got an ass cramp 😱

Cheers,

I did not intentionally get it frozen 😉

It's like when you sleep on your arm & there is no blood flow so it feels like pins & needles 😀

depends on the type of Local Anaesthetic that was used...

The actual anesthetic Novocaine (procaine) is rarely used today.
The Amide group, such as lidocaine (Xylocaine) or Carbocaine, is now used in its place.

If you find it lasting ALOT longer than a few hours... seek a doctor, as you may have "parasthesia" ... especially if the anaesthetic lasts for 24 or mour hours.
