My eyeglasses' temple broke. Anyone know where I can get a replacement/how to fix?

They are black Dolce & Gabbana with black plastic (somewhat flexible) temples, size 140. I will find out the exact model later. The right temple broke, but its not completely off. I gues electrical tape might do the trick. Anyone know of any replacement temples that I could find?

Thanks,
Kishan

EDIT: I bought them at Sterling Optical, and the rude man who answered the phone said they don't sell replacement temples. These seem similar to mine. Text

Temples?? You mean the spot where it connectes to the frame?? I don't think those are repairable.. at least my last frames that just broke weren't..

you're supposed to tape it back together.
Any kind of tape you like.

I worked at Lenscrafters: we did not repair neither the "temples" nor the bridge.

Time for a new pair of glasses, buddy-o. :(

I broke the temple on my glasses and my optical provider had no problems ordering a new one for $30

They usually don't make a frame models for very long, I'm guessing probably 2 or 3 years supply. So you might be out of luck and will probably have to spring for a new frame and lenses.

hey thanks for all the answers. I picked up some cartier rimless to use them as prescription sunglasses yesterday, but I think they may be too gaudy/expensive for regular use. Krazy glue is not a bad idea though.

To clarify, isn't the temple the part that is the stick? There are two temples, left and right, that fold up?

Google pic: temple

That should be a replacement part!

If it's actually the temple that's broken, your eye doctor should be able to order a new one, assuming the frame isn't too old. If you broke the piece of the frame where the temple connects, it's new frame time.

I figured so. The guy I spoke to at Sterling is a lazy moron!

The frames should be around $300. Feels like a waste of money to me. Will try calling more Sterling's.

Thanks,

I've had various parts of my frames replaced a number of times... every part has been replaced at least twice, except the lenses. I just went back to the mall and asked to buy a replacement for the broken piece.
