My Eye Is Red

I got in an accident exactly 1 week ago. I hit my head really hard and I got 6 stitches right above my eye and I had them removed today. Well my eye is red all around the pupil and I have this big bruise all around my eye. I have a little bit of discomfort and it is weird to move it around. I asked the nurse who took my stitches out today and she said it will probably go away by itself.

Anyone have any experience with something like this?
 
How much will it be if I go to the hospital and get this checked out? Anywhere I can go for cheaper?
No insurance here.

go to a clinic...itll be cheaper than a trip to the hospital or ER...i dunno what doctors cost on your area so i have no idea on that note

Should I go to the ER? It's been a week and I sleep with ice on my face.

Man that sounds bad. Maybe should see an opthamologist. You only have 1 set of eyes you know.

man you need to see a doctor, I had a pet cat that got a cut just under it's eyelid, and a week later it's eye was all pusy and hanging out of the socket, the vet had to remove the eye, bloody gross stuff, funny enougth afterwards it did improve the cats hunting ability!
 
my 3rd year opto school student gf thinks that it is just a broken blood vessel.
nothing too bad and should go away soon.
